"Hope But Never Expect.
Look Forward, But Never Wait"
Happy Thanksgiving!!!This year I have so many things to be thankful for (health, happiness, and the fact that I’m able to attend college), but the one thing that I am most grateful for is my niece. I can also count on her to put me in a good mood. Whenever I’m around her, she always puts a smile to my face just because of  her cute giggles, rad sayings, and her radiant presence. I feel extremely close to her and don’t know what I would do without her. Being away from her while  attending college is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, but it just makes the holidays even more special knowing that I’ll get to see her.
Like most years, my family decided to stay at our own home and have Thanksgiving dinner with just our immediate family. Some years I felt as if I was deprived as a child for not spending hours slaving on a Thanksgiving meal and getting together with our ENTIRE extended family...but I kind of like our simple box-made food we call dinner. Sure it’s not everyone’s style, but it’s what I’m used to.
As a child, Thanksgiving was never a holiday that excited me, but as I’ve grown older I’ve come to realize how special this holiday can be.  I love the warmth and coziness that Thanksgiving brings, the happiness of sitting around a dinner table with family, and best of all, chowing down on delicious food...btw pumpkin pie is the best part! And what’s even more special, is the fact that Thanksgiving is the introduction to the holiday season. I love the fact that I can blast Christmas music without feeling guilty.
And since we had a simple Thanksgiving meal, I decided to keep my outfit simple, though at night I decided to be bold and wear a red lip.
