March Favorites

"If You Want Something You've Never Had,
You Have To Do Something You've Never Done"
I am so excited that March is over since that means we’re one month closer to warmer weather! I cannot to start playing tennis again. And lately my and some friends have been shooting some hoops. So that’s been fun. Hopefully it’ll warm up even more so my pale skin can get some color.

BEAUTY FAVORITES:
Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay: I finally bought this palette this month and I cannot be happier with my purchase. I couldn’t decide whether to purchase this one or the original but a lot of people with cooler skin tones recommended this one...so that’s what I bought. There’s been two go to looks I’ve been gravitating towards. One is more neutral: Booty call (inner corner), Half Baked (lid), Chopper (crease), and YDK (outercorner). The other look is more of a shimmery, smokey eye. To create that look I use Verve (innercorner and lid), Tease (crease), and Pistol (outercorner).
Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder: I’ve mostly just been using the blush. It’s very pigmented, which is how I like my blush to be. I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. It pretty much goes with any makeup look.
Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer: Recently, I ran out of my moisturizer from Simple, so I was in need of a new one. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews on this product so decided to finally give it a whirl. I use this day and night and thankfully it hasn’t broken me out.

FASHION
Danskin Grey Windbreaker: Unfortunately I do not have spring trench coat to rock for the spring time, so a couple of weeks ago, I was on the hunt for a lightweight spring jacket. I did not intend on getting a windbreaker, but I spotted this and had to have it. It goes amazingly over a pair of jeans and even yoga leggings. I love wearing this to class or even after a workout. I got it at Walmart on clearance for $5...so even better!
Black Converse: I own a pair of white converse that I wore the heck out of last summer, so I invested in a black pair. I hate to say it, but I like these more. They go better with jeans because of the contrasting black and white. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my white ones, but the white tends to look better with casual skirts/dresses and shorts. And since lately I’ve been gravitating towards more of a simplistic, sporty/casual outfit, these black converse have been my go-to.

BLOGGER
Julianne Hough (http://juliannehough.com/) has been my favorite blogger this month. She has been my favorite female dancer on DWTS, so now I’m overjoyed that she created a blog this month. Her blog has a good mix of beauty, decor, and misc. And I love that she stands for kindness.

TV SHOW:
Teen Mom OG! I absolutely loved the original series so now I’m stoich that MTV brought it back. This is definitely one of those shows that I CRAVE for the next episode. Plus I’m so happy that Catelynn and Tyler are having a girl!

MUSIC:
Night Changes by One Direction. I normally do not gravitate towards One Direction because I feel a bit childish liking their music, but this one is so beautiful
Say by John Mayer. This song is a total throwback, but it’s just one of those sweet and inspiring songs that gets caught in your head.
