Last week, my boyfriend allowed me to shoot some portraits of him, which was honestly a blast! He asked me to pick out his outfit (which is like every girl's dream to dress her man!) So I chose a button down collared shirt because what's sexier than that? (of course he had to change immediately after the photos into tshirt to be more comfy....typical guy)

I led him to the cutest location that screamed fall to me: a rustic looking bridge in the woods. There were actually quite a few of people that passed by and one even thought we were doing senior pictures. So I guess it appeared that I knew what I was doing. Though if you ever see me shooting photos you'll find me crazy contraptions as far as positions go. At one point I was laying on my side with my ankles crossed and my boyfriend said he should be the one taking photos of me since I was "posed" so nice and dressed in a cute outfit. What can I say, I'll do anything for the "perfect" shot.
It definitely was different taking photos of a male though. I had to google poses because I didn't want him to look too feminine. Thankfully, they were all super flattering. I honestly had the hardest time choosing my favorites of the bunch. To my surprise, my boyfriend decided to wink and stick out his tongue out in a few of the photos (what a goof ball!) For some reason, we couldn't help but giggle every so often during our little photo shoot.
After about an hour of shooting photos, we headed back.. We held each other's hand as we walked back through the woods and I couldn't help but think how perfect it was. He was so comfortable in front of the camera. I'm hoping he'll let me do more in the future.
Over the weekend we went to a pumpkin patch that had a corn maze with a couple of friends.
I haven't been to one in years....probably since like 2nd grade. I forgot how annoying it is when you reach dead ends! But somehow we managed to find our way out! And while we waited for our tractor to take us back from the corn maze to the main part of the farm, we entertained ourselves with a ring toss game. It definitely was harder than it looked. We then ended the day with a game of mini golf. Surprisingly I kept up pretty good and only lost by one hole...talk about a professional golfer right here!
Overall, it was a lot of fun to do something different for a change as well as do something fall festive. The only sucky part it was extremely windy so we weren't able to wear our cowboy hats that we planned on. And it was a little cold...but that's nothing a little cuddling and hand holding can't fix!
