Be Mine!

I hope you all had an amazing Valentine's Day whether you had a date or not! For once, I didn't spend the holiday as a single lady. My boyfriend decided that we would go out for breakfast. He told me the previous night that we would shoot to go around 8am since he had a crap ton of homework to do the rest of the day. He said we could just roll out of bed and go in our pajamas. But since it was our first Valentine's Day together, I wanted to get a little dolled up. So on Valentine's Day, I woke up at around 7:20, and decided I did not have enough time to do the whole routine of showering, blow drying hair, styling my hair and applying makeup. I came to the conclusion that my hair wasn't too greasy and that I would be able to skip my shower and just apply some makeup. Not gonna lie, I didn't feel the most confident about that.

I threw on some booties, a cardigan and a heart dress (how appropriate) and we headed off to breakfast. I kind of felt like an old married couple for some reason. I guess it's because we got up bright and early to celebrate the holiday instead of going out to a club or something at night time. Plus the restaurant was filled with senior citizens. I ordered a Belgium waffle with scrambled eggs and sausage...yum! I can't recall the last time I went out for breakfast.
After breakfast we exchanged Valentine's gifts. He went the traditional route of a box of chocolates, a decorative mug, and stuffed animal!...How cute! He even signed the card with xoxo... Little details like that make my heart melt.
Then since he got pounded with homework, we went our separate ways for the day. However at 6, we went to our school cafeteria together to have dinner and ended our night with a game of Monopoly. You may be asking who won... I surrendered because it was getting too long of a game for me. Plus I wanted to finish watching the Bachelor Wedding! How did you spend your Valentine's?
