A Breezy Weekend

Thursday was the first time I've seen my boyfriend in a week and I couldn't be more excited to see his face. I was so ecstatic that I was going to be spending the whole weekend with him.
Thursday night we decided to go play a game of tennis. We played at my high school courts and it was so weird being back. It honestly feels like centuries ago that I was in those hallways....maybe centuries is an exaggeration, but you get the idea. We were both rusty so we didn't have to many decent rallies. However, we decided to play a match. Guess who won!? I'll give you a hint; it wasn't me. :( I just don't understand how he always wins.... He hasn't even played tennis that many times. Afterward, we headed to the beach to kill some time before dinner with my family. When I stepped out of his car I could feel the cool wind against my skin. I kind of regretted me choice of clothing: leggings and a thin sweatshirt. I sucked it up though!
The sand smushed between our gym shoes, as we walked towards a swinging bench. He put his arm around me as we rocked back and forth and stared at the water. We just sat there pretty much in silence just gazing at the beauty. We then took a walk on a trail close by. He held my hand the whole way, and I couldn't be happier. We made it to a point in the trail where you could get super up close to the water. He joked that he was going to push me in. Instead he picked me up and held me in his arms. I love when he's a hopeless romantic! He set me down on the bench and kissed me as the sun was setting :)

The next morning I scheduled to meet with my sister-in-law so she could fix my terrible haircut (be on the lookout for a post real soon talking about it). My boyfriend is such a trooper for sitting through two hours of me getting my hair done.
Afterward we headed to the driving range. Ever since last year, I've been trying to play golf. I can't seem to get the hang of it though. I missed the first few balls and the ones I did hit barely went a few feet in front of me. My boyfriend though gave me some tips on how to improve my form, and it actually worked! He was genuinely excited that I was improving. Hopefully if I keep practicing, I'll get even more better.
We then played a round of mini golf...and of course he won! Afterwards we went to see the movie Money Monster.  I felt bad that he was spending all of this money on me. I mean $23 for a movie...is that even worth it?
Then on Saturday morning, we headed to Six Flags. He was never been on a roller coaster, so I was honored to be the one to go with him on his first one. I started him off slow with the whizzer. I liked that we were so close to each other when we shared a seat in the roller coaster car....it was nice a cozy! I then worked him up to the Viper....and he loved it! The drops were his favorite; they're my favorite too! He then talked me into going on a roller coast that I've never been on before: The American Eagle. I don't know why but I always freak out when I try something new. I couldn't tell you how many times I told him "I'm scared."
After I got done with the ride though, I was disappointed. It failed to live up to my expectations. We both agreed the Viper was ten times better. So for our last ride, we went on the Viper again. Funny thing, he got all excited that line for the front of the car was super short.....he then realized it was the back! On the way out, he wanted to stop at a candy store. He saw a deal on rock candy (his favorite) and had to buy it. He bought three for me, and three for himself......awww he's so sweet!

Finally on Sunday, we were having a party at my house. Beforehand, I talked him into taking some pictures at a park...... he honestly is the best. No matter how many times I ask him to take pictures for no reason, he'll always agree! And to my surprise he always comes up with cute poses. Afterwards, we went on a walk through the woods. Again, he held my hand the whole time. I loved just walking through all the trees and just being in his presence.
We headed back to my house for the party. And a couple hours into it, he had to make his way back to home. I walked him out to his car and couldn't help but feel sad. He brought up the fact that it'll be a month before we see each other again. I wanted to ball my eyes out when he mentioned that.....but I held it together. He gave me a quick hug & kiss, and then took off. :(
Since we had such a wonderful weekend, I now miss him more than ever. It sucks not being able to kiss him good night and hear him say "I love you."
