Insta Round Up: Seafoam

Thursday, August 04, 2016

I saw some of my other fellow bloggers doing this post of an "Instagram Round Up" and thought it was the cutest thing. First things first, are you following me on Instagram? Alittle self promo, but you totally should: @katekoutures.  And I've learned how to sync my Instagram to my blog. Check it out on the sidebar. I'm so proud. But now onto the pics........

My boyfriend and I attended a wedding back in June. How cute are our outfits together lol. I love the print as well as the back of the dress. It's so classy and elegant! (Fun fact, my roommate played seamstress and altered the shoulders for me). And I love my boyfriend's shirt; it reminds me of Tiffany's. I had the best night with him. My favorite part was us  sitting on the rocks by the water together just taking in the beauty of nature. I made a post about it, if you want to read more about it.

Freshman year, I took a photography class and LOVED it!. My friends didn't love me so much, since they were always volunteered to be my models. Oh well! I realized that taking portraits was my favorite. I wasn't very good at nature photography and was okay at product photography....so this was my passion! This is still one of my favorites shots I've ever taken. I love how her face and pose is so natural. The background blur is beautiful. And her outfit screams a casual fall day.

Just a picture of some pretty flowers from my latest fashion post: Lilac, Lemons, and Herbs. See what I mean....I'm not the best at photographing landscapes. But I wanted to add some "new" content to my fashion posts.

Ahh the memories of last year's trip to NYC. This trip I had so many mixed emotions. I was scared and excited to have an interview with Kleinfeld Bridal. It was so surreal being in the store. To be in THE STORE where the show is filmed just blew my mind. And then I was sad thinking about leaving all of my friends for the semester. Whatever decision Kleinfeld made would bring me happiness and break my heart at the same time. You can read about my reaction when I found out their final decision.

I finally got to cross something off my bucklet list: photographing on railroad tracks. This was one of the most beautiful walks I've been on (minus the hot, humid weather).  And I was so happy with my outfit choice: chevron blouse, pearls, and converse.....how preppy! You can check out more scenic photographs on my post talking about my weekend with my boyfriend.

Open back shirts with bralettes are my new obession! This bralette is from Victoria's Secret and the halter top is on clearance at American Eagle. I made a whole post dedicated to this trend.

This was my take on an Easter outfit.  I felt like Blair Waldorf in a mint dress, pearls, and sun hat. Funny thing is, that the hat is my moms! I remember taking this photo over spring break and it was freezing! I don't miss taking photos in the winter time. And this dress is actually the same one that I wore in NYC. Can you tell I love it!?

Another pic from the wedding! This was our attempt at a dip. I love the way he's looking at me. He's so handsome!

The final pic is from my trip to Florida last year. I loved wearing that skort with converse....it's one of the comfiest outfits. My aunt actually called me skinny minnie when she saw me in the outfit. And a couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend's dad nicknamed me skinny minnie...how funny! But can we talk about that windblown hair!? It's actually weird to think how different I looked a year ago. Now my hair is super short and has some blonde streaks left in it. Hopefully I can get that tan again by the end of summer.
