Just Believe: Fly The W

Its official, the Chicago Cubs are the world CHAMPIONS!!!! I thought about including this little babble in my next fashion post, but then it got me thinking. It's been 108 years since the cubs have won a world series; this deserves it's own special post.  I've been grown and raised a cubs fan, so it's no surprise that I am ecstatic! Plus how can you pass up new Cubs apparel; especially when it says world champions!

My dad is probably the cubs number 1 fan. He is constantly giving me text updates about which player is injured// who was the hero of the game. I'll be honest, half the time I ignore them. And when he said the cubs were going to win the world series, I didn't quite believe it. Sure I was hopeful, but it didn't quite settle in until they made it to the world series. And too be honest I only fully watched two games in the championship. And let me tell you game 7 had me with mixed emotions and on the edge of my seat. You might be thinking that I'm a band-wagoner, but I assure you I'm not. When I was in 6th grade I sat down on the couch after school to watch all their games. Sure it might have had something to do with the fact that I wanted a conversation starter for my middle school crush, but I also genuinely liked watching the game.

I've only been to Wrigley Field twice in my lifetime, but I assure you,  it was worth it. Just being able to see the athletes face's in person, it just amazing.  There is nothing like the Wrigley experience. Our fans are die-hard ones. If you watch videos about the cubs FINALLY making it to the world series, it seriously will bring tears to your eyes; its that inspiring.

I think I'm speaking for all my fellow cubs fans that we are in awe, truly ecstatic, but most of all proud.
