The Perfect Plaid Top: Sammydress

One of the best feelings in the world is motivation. These past few days, I've just been hit with a huge gush of wanting to work on my blog non-stop. If you know me at all, you would know that I'm easily distracted. I find it hard to work on something for more than an hour. For some reason, I've had the urge to get a head on all my posts, comment on everyone's Instagram photos, and just PLAN, PLAN, PLAN. This is honestly my favorite part of blogging: being inspired. I'll be honest, there are times where blogging feels like a job, something "I have to do", But once you get out of the small funk, you remember why you fell in love with this hobby.

Button down blouses are the easiest way to be instantly fanc-i-fied. Throw on some well fitted jeans and booties, and you have yourself an instant chic outfit for this time of year. I mean come on...what's easier than that!? What I love about this button down is the print. I'm all about plaid at this time of year. I love the combination of black and red. I'll say it again....it's perfect for the HOLIDAYS!!!

It was extremely windy and even slightly rainy the day that these photos were taken. (If you look closely, you can see my eyeliner dripping down my face).  I had to replan my whole outfit. I needed some warmth, so tossed my open toed booties aside and added a scarf. I find my hair looks weird if I wear it down with a scarf, so I threw it up in a ponytail. Fun fact, I hate the way my hair looks in a ponytail, so I added some earrings to distract from my "ugly" hair.

The sleeves on this blouse can be rolled down to have a long sleeve blouse, so it's very versatile.  Plus the back of this top hangs lower, so you can even wear it with leggings....major bonus! It fits on the looser side, not in a baggy way, but in a way that allows you to be comfortable all day! You can wear it to work or even on a date of looking at Christmas lights.
