Tips For Spicing Up Date Night

Monday, November 07, 2016

As a student attending college in a small town, I can relate that sometimes we fall into routines as far as date night goes. I mean let's be real, my typical dates consist of going to see a movie or out to dinner. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with doing those things, in fact any time spent of campus is a treat, but sometimes you just need a little spice to your date nights. So here are my simple tips for you, no matter what age you are.

1. Dress Up: Most dates  you might just wear a simple shirt and jeans. However, I find that when you get all dolled up with a smokey eye, curls, a dress, some heels, and your man wear a button up, your day just brightens up. That instant attraction sparks extra hard when you're looking your finest.

2. Spontaneous Walks: Randomly ask your lover if they want to go on a walk, whether that be at sunrise, or as the sun is going down. Holding hand while Walking  in parks, by the lake or around town are just magical.

3. Cute Little Surprises: I always appreciate when my lover has small little surprises for me whether it's something he's made or even some candy. I always like surprising him in the morning with a cappuccino. Another full proof is some fresh flowers.

4. Change Up Your Ride: That ford focus or minivan can get old after a while, so why not change it up by renting a convertible. Think of how stylish you too would be cruizin' around town in this red baby? This particular BMW Z4 costs $64 per day to rent. Depending on your budget and style, from Turo you can rent anything from a budget friendly car, to a sexy Lamborghini. It'll be your one shop stop for a car rental.

5. Holiday Spirit: Definitely plan some dates around the season. If it's the summer, have a barbeque, take a dip in the pool, go on hikes, etc. In the fall, carve some pumpkins, go to haunted houses, and walk through corn mazes. And now since it's almost winter, look at holiday lights, go ice skating, and Christmas shop together.

6. A Romantic Meal: Instead of going out for a meal, make one together. Cook an entre and dessert together. You'll be surprised how fun it is. And don't forget the champagne, flowers, and candlelights.

7. Spontaneous Drives: This one is kind of similar to spontaneous walks, but just get in the car at night and drive randomly (just remember your way back). You'd be surprised there's places around you that you've never adventured over to. Then park your car somewhere, and just cuddle on top of the hood with a blanket.
