Fake. Everything about these pictures are fake. Sometimes you don't realize how much of bloggers posts on their website or the Instagram are staged. Do you really think that we wear a velvet dress and heels on a regular basis. Nope. It's all just for the photos, And that's exactly what I did here. It all started when I wanted to take pictures in this off the shoulder top. It was freezing out, so that day was not a day I wanted to freeze my little touchy off. So I decided to take photos in "my bed". When I say "my bed", I mean my parents. They have so much better lighting in there. The color of their walls are not this taupe color; they're actually a pale yellow, but I was just not feeling that aesthetics. Then I thought I would be all tumblr and "have a cup of coffee". You guessed it, there's nothing in it. I may or may not be wearing pj pants because I was too lazy to put on jeans. I was also too lazy to put on a strapless bra, so I tucked in the straps. And last, but not least, I'm wearing hair extensions that I put in very sh*ty. (If you have any tips for hair extensions, let me know!) 
Off the shoulder tops have always been a favorite of mine because of the sexy aspect of them. What attracted me to this one was the sort of sweet heart neckline. and criss-cross detailing in the front. It's different than most off-the-shoulder tops.  The black and white stripes kind of remind me of a Parisian outfit. 

I will say, this top is quite warm for a tshirt. I normally wear an Xsmall, but order a Small instead. It gives the shirt more of a slouchy look, mainly the back. This black and white shirt is definitely more of a crop top, so I suggest wearing high waisted pants/shorts. I could even see this top with a simple black skirt as well.

    Totally agree, usually the perfectly posed photos are all a bunch of BS :) BUT - you look VERY gorgeous here :)

    I absolutely love this top! I also really like how honest you are! Haha you're 100% right about people throwing on something they don't normally wear just for a photo. Guilty!
