Holy cow! Let me just start off by saying that this post may or may not be all over the place. Is anyone else amazed that it is March already. Where did these past two months go? I swear it was just marking the new year. If you've been following me these past two months, then you would know that I've been making monthly resolutions. For February my goal was to stop going to sleep with my makeup on and use a face brush every night. I was also going to make an effort to wash my makeup brushes. While, I started off strong, I slowly began to get out of that habit. These past few days have been a success though. Which is why for March, I'm going to continue to work on that resolution instead of making a new one for the month.
If you haven't figured it out already, I have an obsession with lace. To me, nothing is more elegant than lace. I honestly feel like Blair Waldorf in this lace dress. I threw on some fake pearls for an even more elegant look.
While this may not be appropriate for church because of the plunging neckline is it perfect for date night. I honestly feel super sexy, which is not not something I feel often. Imagine this with some stilettos. Your man will find you irresistible. Speaking of church, I have some thoughts to say. We are now in the Easter season. I have to say, being at college makes me unaware of what is going on around me in terms of religion. I honestly had no idea that is was Ash Wednesday this week until someone on my Facebook feed mentioned their Lenten resolution. How sad is that!? Being away at college definitely has effected my faith. This is something that I normally don't talk about, but I feel the need to make a short address about it. I'm not saying that it's impossible to maintain your faith while being a college student. I know many, many people that still are able to have a balance. I think one of the reasons I've been lacking is just pure laziness. So instead of giving something up for Lent, I'm going to be a concious effort to pray every night before bed. I know... one of the most basic things Christians should ALREADY be doing. Opps! Enough rambling though, and onto the outfit!!!
I did not even think about my bra showing in the back. I noticed once I edited these
photos. So side note, don't wear a criss-cross bra.
sophisticated dress, I'm considering wearing this black dress to a wedding this fall. Can't wait :)
