Trendy Sneakers

I don't know about you, but this week has been quite rainy and dreary. Definitely the opposite of thisweekend's weather. It was nice that my boyfriend and I got the chance to spend a lot of time outside. We were practically like kids having a squirt gun fight. It was a mix of hide and go seek with a squirt gun fight. Sounds kind of childish, but it was actually a blast. Later that afternoon we went on a bike ride. The distance we rode was 12 miles. Trust me, I felt it in my legs the whole time. They just felt like jello and sore. I don't know how I made it that far. I definitely slowed my boyfriend down though. He wasn't feeling it in his legs and could ride much faster than me. Oh well! Then for the evening, we went golfing with his friends. Of course I chose to watch because I have a long way ahead of me. My boyfriend did however let me tee off on the 8th hole. He said my hit wasn't very good, but I was just glad I didn't miss it.

I must say, my boyfriend definitely spoiled me this weekend. He made me steak while I cooked mashed potato and corn. Let me just say though that I screwed up my portion of the meal. Don't ask how because I honestly don't know either. Needless to say, the side dishes went in the trash. Once it got dark, he made me homemade popcorn. I've actually never had it before. I must say, I don't think I can go back now! The popcorn went perfectly with our movie date. We took his computer outside, set up some blankets and a pillow to enjoy a movie outside under the stars. I romantic right!? Oh and the next morning he cooked me eggs, and we ate our breakfast outside. It was the perfect weekend!

I definitely feel hipster with this outfit. I think it's the combination of the checkered shirt and the sneakers. The blouse is a little over-sized so I tied in a knot. Fun fact, these photos were taken on two different days. I wasn't happy with the way that shadows were hitting, so I made my boyfriend retake them a couple of days later...such a trooper! So, that's why some pictures show more stomach area than others lol. I didn't realize that in the first photo session it was coming untied. Opps! The shirt can definitely be dressed up or down.
I finally got my hands on the Adidas Superstars! I've been wanting these bad boys for months and months. Everytime I've went to purchase them they've been sold out. And the one time that I was actually able to get my hands on them, they turned out to be the wrong size. So as you can imagine I'm super stoaked. I'm very protective of them though. I don't want them to get dirty. Best part, my boyfriend also wears Adidas sneakers 24/7, so we'll kind of match. How cute right!?
My hand looks alittle awkward in those pose...oh well!
Isn't it crazy that next week is Easter? Where has the time gone? What are your plans?  I can't wait to be munching on Reese Eggs and jellybeans
