Gingham Wilderness

Fall starts this week! I'm sure y'all are counting down the days. I have mixed feeling about it coming so soon. Part of me is happy to start breaking out flannels and blanket scarves. The other part is sad to put away my frilly dresses....mainly because I haven't worn all of them to class yet! At least the weather is still nice though, so I'll be able to still wear them. Probably my favorite thing about autumn is the delicious apple cider donuts. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.
I've had this gingham romper from American Eagle since May, and have yet to wear it until this week. I don't know why it has taken me so long to break it out....Actually, it's probably because there's a big cutout underneath the bust. It's not exactly the most appropriate number, but I still think it's adorable.
I wasn't aware that my bra was showing in the back until editing these photos....opps!
Since it's almost fall, I wanted to share with you my fall staples. First, a pair of sunglasses. I know it might seem a little stupid being that when you think of sunglasses, you think merely of summer. However, that's not the case. You would not believe how many times I'm walking to my classes on campus, and am in need of a pair. These black cat-eye sunnies  are perfect for the fall! I normally go with mirror aviators, but the black and gold is so chic. It reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in a way. Now that I think about it, how cute would these cat eye be in prescription glasses....hello trendy! These sunglasses are from GlassesShop.com. Feel free to use the code GSHOT50 for 50% off your purchase. Talk about scoring major savings!!!
I have a bad habit of going online shopping in class. For some reason, I've been wanting update my sunglass collection. I've always been the type of person to only have one pair of sunglasses. But now I see the value of having lots of different styles...I need a pair to match every outfit, okay! Lol anyone else have an addiction to buying eyeglasses online?
(Ignore the fact that my necklace is backwards this entire post, and and the fact that I forgot to take the hairtye off my wrist). For beauty, my new go to lipstick is Revlon Violet Frenzy. It's the perfect purple/fuscia shade. It looks incredibly awesome with black, and navy outfits. (I should've worn it with this outfit). I always get self conscious wearing bold lipcolors, because I'm worried my teeth aren't white enough. So, I always like to do an at home teeth whitening treatment, every so often to make them extra sparkly. The whitening system that I found works awesome is Smile Brillant . All you have to do is pop in some trays while you work. It's that easy.
Fun fact, I wanted to take a picture of these sunglasses on top over the over look. When I was taking the picture though, my sunglasses blew off the edge and fell ALL the way to the ground, roughly 80 feet from the air. Surprisingly only one lens popped out. I thought they would be smashed in half. Guess that means the glasses frames are in top shape!  I was able to pop the lens back into place and they're good as new! I was too lazy to go hike all the way down and back up to redo the shot. So I settled for a picture in some ugly leaves.
What's autumn without some dark denim. My go to brand of denim has always been Hollister. They're classic, but most importantly, they fit my petite body. And of course you can't go wrong with some booties. A pair that I have my eye on, are these from Nordstrom's. I love booties with a slight chunky heel. They're comfy yet instantly add some fanciness to an outfit.
I'm ending this fall favorites with a watch that I've had my eye on for a couple of years: Daniel Wellington . They're all so classy. ***Hint hint...if you're reading this babe, I'd love one for Christmas.
