A New Year: 2018 Resolutions
Wednesday, January 10, 2018For 2018, I have a few different things that I want to improve. The list honestly gets longer and longer as I think of new things. I debated whether or not I should do monthly resolutions. I tried that last year, and while it worked for a little bit, it wasn't all that successful. So, I'm just going to compile the most important ones, and focus on them.
1. Skincare: Mark my words, 2018 is going to be the year that I clear up my skin. I've been struggling with adult acne and scarring for like the past 2.5 years. I'm tired of looking in the mirror and feeling self-conscious. So, I am going to stick to a morning and night routine and document the results. Hopefully I figure out what's causing this.
2. Organization: I'm sure if my boyfriend is reading this, he is rolling his eyes. I am the worst at letting my junk piling up and especially bad at losing things. So, this is something that I want to improve on. I want to have a place for everything. NO MORE LOSING MY WALLET! From now on, I'm going to carry a purse to class instead of keeping things in my pocket.3. Finances: This is more intended for a resolution once I graduate college. I want to keep a list of expenses in excel so I can plan ahead and budget.
4. Spiritual: This is something that I have put on the back burner for quite some time. I need to just take baby steps like reflect on my day or pray when I'm feeling anxious.
5. Fitness: Okay, I know what you're thinking....REALLY? I know everyone in their mother makes this resolution, but I'm not one of those people that is "I'm going to eat healthy." All I want to do is be consecutive at doing arm workouts. I used to "workout" with my boyfriend in the spring. And when I say workout, I mean we would do some pushups in his dorm room for like 15 minutes. So, if I could do a basic workout like that 4-5 times a week, that would be great! While I want to make complete this resolution, it's not one of my most important ones.
One goal that I have is achieve 1000 followers on Instagram. I'm sure to a lot of you, you're like "THAT'S IT!?" I've been stuck at 470ish for what seems forever. So, if you could do a girl a favor, and follow me on Instagram, that would be great!
My other goal is one that scares me, and that's to ensure my boyfriend and I find jobs near each other. With graduation being like 4 months away, I'm panicking. The thought of leaving him behind because our futures don't work out, honestly is the scariest thing ever. He's my best friend and I can't imagine life without him. So, just wish us luck, that's all I can say.
