Snowy Anorak Mountains

I think I've finally found my groove for this semester (*knock on wood)....it's only taken me over a month to finally have found a routine that works well for me in regards to balancing homework, social life, and blogging. Let's hope this lasts though. I feel great because this weekend I was able to schedule out blog posts and get the majority of my past photo-shoots edited. Now I just need to plan my Instagram feed because that's what's really been stressing me out. This morning I had a craving for cinnamon rolls. So as soon as a I got out of bed, I drove to the store to buy the dough. Eggs and toast sounded great as well, so I also added those to my cart. I'm normally not the one to make breakfast. I'm the type of person who pours a bowl of cereal, and occasionally frozen waffles. So let's just say today is off to a great start.
It was rather windy this day. While I was fixing my hair, my boyfriend managed to capture this shot. I'm kind of digging the candid shot. Oh and if you see that white mark on my jeans, it's because I sat in gum. I didn't realize it until editing these photos and saw the biggest watt on my butt. Guess I was walking around all day like that....opps! I tried my best to edit it out.
I went to this location in the fall time, and it has got to be by far my favorite post. It is equally as pretty in the winter with all the snow and the mix of the water. If every post of mine could be at a location this pretty, I would be in heaven!
You can't really see them because of the snow, but these shoes have been my new go-to. Actually, I take that back....sneakers have been my go-to. They give such a cute sporty look to them. These ones I found for $10 in Target's clearance section. They're a mix of a slip-on shoe and a sneaker. They kind of remind me of Nike Roshes. They definitely need to be cleaned after this hike.
Note to self, I should have ironed this jacket before taking picture in it. What can I say, I was just too excited to wear it. This pink jacket is a little bit outside of my comfort zone. It's kind of a mix between trendy and sport, but I'm in love. It's thick enough to wear when it's a little bit chilly, but you're not going to roast in it on warmer days. I think my favorite part about it is the fact that it has a quarter/half zip. I find those style to be incredibly trendy. I'm tempted to buy it in the black color as well!
