My June Favorites

Friday, June 24, 2016

The last time I did a monthly favorites, was LAST May..... WHAT!?!? I guess the reason why I stopped doing these frequently, was because I stuck with the same products for the longest time. I still tend to stick to a routine of products. However, I don't think I've mentioned these before. And if I have, oh's a refresher for you!

First off, I want to mention that I've been LOVING these extensions. I did a a recent review on these remy hair extensions, if you're interested in reading more about my opinion. I had mentioned that it didn't blend that greatest with my choppy bob. I had also stated that I didn't get as much volume with them. Ever since then, I experimented and curled them. Let me tell, you love them ten times better! When your boyfriend compliments "hot damn", you know you look sexy. I definitly had a boost of self confidence. So I highly recommend you curl your hair with not only with these extensions, but any. It makes a big difference.
1. Covergirl Shimmering Sands Trio: This is the PERFECT small trio. I've been using this when I want a quick easy look, and for when I've been traveling. It gives the perfect shimmery, natural eye. At night, I like to take a deep brown to smoke it out. I can't tell you how beautiful these colors blend together. I highly recommend it.

2. Maybelline Rocket Mascara: For the longest time, I've been sticking to covergirl clumpcrusher. I didn't really switch is up much because I was satisfied with it. I then ran out of the mascara and found this one in my collection. I tried and remembered why I liked it. It gave me a ton of more volume than covergirl. The clumpcrusher did a good job at giving me pretty separated lashes, but nothing that added a punch. The rocket one on the other hand gave me a wow factor. It did smudge and flake just a tad at the end of the day.

3. Clinique Repair Sculpting Night Cream: I may or may not have stole this from my mom's I love applying this in the morning and also at night. It leaves my skin incredibly hydrated. I've been skipping toning my skin and just end up using this. So far I haven't noticed anything much maybe my toner does nothing.

4. ELF Eyebrow Kit: Ever since I started filling in my eyebrows, I've used just a plain old brown eyeshadow I had laying around. It wasn't even the right shade. This January though, I decided to purchase this kit. And let me tell you, it has made the BIGGEST difference! My eyebrows are now nice and bold, and might I add, well shaped. I think this is my favorite part of my makeup routine.

5. Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Padded Demi: I'm not sure if VS still sells this style because I saw it in their semi annual sale. However if they do, you NEED to buy it if you have small boobs. They give them the perfect lift...that's all I'm going to say!

6. Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette: the title says it creates the perfect smoky eye. I use the black and dark purple shade constantly to smoke out any look. And believe it or not, there's a few neutral shades that make an awesome natural look. Also, the doubled ended brush that comes with it, works really well!
