Do you remember that elementary teacher of yours? Not the one that was constantly crabby, but the one who always seemed to dress fashionably. The one that you always dreamed of looking and dressing like when you reached adulthood. That's what I feel like in this shirt dress. To me, shirt dresses give off that sleek, professional look. It's sexier than putting on that boring pant suit that makes you look like a politician. I'm not trying to persuade your vote, but I think Hillary Clinton could step up her fashion game. Sorry if I offended any of you; that was not my intention. I just wanted to know what's wrong with rocking a dress every once in a while? Anyways, I don't think this dress would necessarily be the most appropriate for work because it cuts little high on the sides. Though, I do think it would be perfect to wear for all your fall festivities
If you're wanting to be more conservative, you can have all the buttons secured, like I did here. It also looks super cute with the first button undone. A statement necklace goes perfect with this chambray, asymmetrical shirt dress from Eshakti. I did a post over the summer featuring a palm dress from them. I had mentioned that as a petite woman, I appreciate their business. It's hard to find dresses that fit you in regards to length. At Eshakti though, you're able to input your height, so it's the perfect length. Plus you're able to personalize attributes such as collars, hems, necklines, sleeves etc. Speaking of sleeves, these are the perfect length. Normally I find myself having to roll up the sleeves because they're much too long. These ones fit perfect though.
This season I'm obsessed with shoes with chunky heels. I used to love long, skinny stilhettos, but not so much anymore. These babies are way more comfortable. It makes it a heck of a lot easier walking to class. And the fact that they lace up makes it even cuter.
What fashion trends have you been loving this fall?
