Blair Waldorf
Wednesday, March 29, 2017
One of my most memorable trips was to New York City. What's more classier than pretending your in the movie Breakfast At Tiffany's!? This was the place that I always felt like I would live in. To me the skyline is just breathtaking, especially with the Manhattan bridge in the background. While I've grown these past few years, I've realized that NYC is just that: a picture place. It's a place I love to visit and find unique places to snap pictures; the lifestyle is just not me. Like I said though, NYC is an inspiring place. I mean who wouldn't want to be Blair Waldorf!? That is why I wanted to share with you some pieces that are inspired by NYC chic fashion. And yes, they're all black and white because there's nothing more chic than that color combo.
Ladie's we are starting this post off with a bang! If you want to be Kate Middleton, this black sheath dress is going to be a must have for you!
As a kid I owned a tweed blazer similar to this one. It was a tweed suit set that my mom purchased for me for Easter. But I found myself rocking the jacket with jeans. I felt incredibly chic rocking it with jeans and my sunglasses in 5th Grade. Yes....I was that fashionable even back then! I love this black one though. I can be used for business or just on the weekends.
There's nothing more chic than rocking a simple blouse. I love how it looks with not only dress pants, but simple shorts for the spring, and jeans for the cooler months. It instantly makes your outfit ten times more cute even if you just throw your 3rd day hair in a messy bun.
A fashion post inspired by NYC would not be complete without a pair of heels. Bows are my absolute favorite added touch to ANYTHING. So of course, these pointed toe heels are a favorite of mine!
Stripes are an absolute favorite of mine. I find them incredibly cute especially for summer. They add so much deminsion to just a plain outfit. What I love most about this high neck top though, is that fact that it's completely open in the back. How cute!?!
If you've been following my fashion posts, you might have realized that this and last year I've had an obsession with off the shoulder and cold shoulder. I find the style incredibly sexy and flattering. So of course I love this black flowy blouse.
While this not exactly related to the other pieces, I figured since summer is on the way, I would include a swimsuit. This one is completely different than any other wrap swimsuits I've seen. I love all the intricate details. Definitely a hot piece!
