Just like everyone else, my favorite thing about spring has to be all the delicate details and the pretty pastel colors. Anything that has those two features instantly attracts me to it. Which is why I'm excited for this Easter season. I love seeing everyone dressed in lace dresses and rocking a chic hat. If you haven't seen my previous post, Elle Woods, then you wouldn't know that I'm loving the color blush this season. It's the perfect neutral but still makes a girly statement. If I was investing in a new Easter dress this year, a pink one would definitely be the route that I would go. Speaking of Easter, I remember as a kid loving decorating Easter eggs. I would always rainbow eggs, so I would mix all the colors. Then I would be disappointed when my eggs turned brown. I never liked hard-boiled eggs, so they would never get eaten by me. So I wanted to create a snack that was Easter Egg inspired. If you have a sweet and salty tooth, then this certainly for you!
*Please don't mind the bit of frosting on the basket*. This snack is honestly super easy but also a little time consuming. (If you're trying to make this in a pinch, a quick fix is to use pre-popped popcorn like SkinnyPop!) Once your popcorn is made, put some white frosting in a bowl. Then add some food coloring to get the color you desire. Grab a handful of popcorn and start dipping them in the frosting. If you have a lot of time on your hands, then you can dip each piece. Or you can be like me and only add frosting to some. I then added some pretzel sticks. If I had some pastel jelly beans or M&m's I would've added those too. But you can add whatever you want.
