Did we like skip fall or something and jump straight into winter. I swear last week it was in the 60's and now it's in the 30's. Not gonna lie, it's kind of making me a little mad/sad. This means that taking outfit pictures are going to suck. The scenery is not going to be as beautiful (in fact it's ugly lol) and I'm going to freeze my little bootay off (not to mention my photographer a.k.a my boyfriend is going to be freezing as well). I guess I can't complain because I'm pretty excited for Thanksgiving and the holidays. Can't wait to blast my Christmas music! The other day my boyfriend asked if I was excited to see the Christmas Lights display near us. Ugh of course! Can't wait.

Let's talk about hair now (such an awkward transition lol). It's been about two months since I dyed my hair blonde. And I have to say, I'm still loving it. My hair is now quite as bleached blonde. I'm tempted to get it re-dyed but then again my hair is already kind of dry so I don't want to damage it (plus, I'm a broke college student lol). Since dying my hair I have changed up my hair routine a little bit.

First, I changed my shampoo and conditioner. All the beauty-gurus are going to cringe when I say this, but in the past, I used Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. I was reading online that it caused some people to have acne. And then it hit cystic acne started when I started using Tresemme regularly. Not sure if it has helped my skin any, but I thought it was worth a shot. So I switched to more natural/organic shampoo and conditioners. I switched it up with my purple shampoo, but my everyday shampoo and conditioner is the Winter Blend shampoo and conditioner by Maple Holistics. First off it smells like peppermint, which is just heavenly! And secondly, its a natural cosmetic. Highly recommend! My hair actually dries decently when I let it air dry. Just a side note that Maple Holistics offers a free sample program to try out their hair care products. Who doesn't love free products!?

The other change I've made to my routine is my hair straightener. I've finally decided to try the ever so famous Chi Flat Iron. Drum roll please.....I'm in love! It makes my hair ten times straighter than my cheap Remington one did. As much as I love my hair straight, I've been most of the time just throwing in some messy curls before class. It's just ten times easier and it just looks so effortless. All I do is wrap my hair around a 1.25 inch curling iron. Super easy!
Oh and one last thing. Since dying my hair, I've noticed it gets ten times more tangled. So, I bought a de-tangler spray from Aussie. It's from the kids section and has Dori on the bottle. How cute!
