What to Wear: Holiday Sweaters

Sunday, December 17, 2017

I swear Christmas has snuck up on us this year. We are a week away! Anyone else a bit sad about it? I no longer can have the excuse to buy a gingerbread house from Walmart and have a competition. I actually did that this week end. This was my second competition of the season. The theme was "a barn". I thought it turned out pretty da*n cute! If you follow me on Instagram then you saw it on my story. I used red frosting, oats for the ground, and cows on the ground. The only regret that I have is that it costed me $20. It was worth it though! The other house I made the other weekend was a beach house. It had aqua blue siding, "sand", and a palm tree. I honestly don't know which of them is my favorite. After building the gingerbread house, my boyfriend and I went to the see more rotary lights. We've never been to this sight before and it was quite magical. We opted to drive through it instead of walking. I'm quite glad we did because this location was quite big! It would have taken at least a half hour to walk through.
I know that Christmas is right around the corner, and you may have already had holiday parties, but these are some super cute sweaters in case you still need some ideas. Plus they're on sale, so better stop up now. Be prepared for lots of red, green, and white!

Reindeer Cardigan

Okay, so some might think this reindeer sweater is a little tacky, but I think it's absolutely adorable! I'm a huge fan of "christmas sweater trend". I like how this one is a cardigan too, so it has more of a femimine fit. It's under $30 from Rosegal

Casual White

While, I have a love for red sweaters, white sweaters come in second place! I love wearing them with a red lip and black "velvet" boots. If you're feeling extra festive, you could pair a plaid scarf with this v-neck sweater. I love how this sweater is sexy, but doesn't show a lot of cleavage.

Candy-Cane Stripes

Okay, so this is technically not a sweater, but I had to throw it in this post. This tee combines two of my favorite trends: laceup and stripes. Does it not just remind you of a candy-cane?

Pockets and Elbow Patches

This striped pullover is similar to the last one, but has the cutest pocket and elbow patches. If you're someone that has a more casual, or even sporty, vibe this red and grey number is for you! How cute would it look with some jeans and tennis shoes?

Cold Shoulder

I'm clearly still loving the cold shoulder trend. The neckline on this green sweater is so classy. I could see it styled with a tiny gold necklace.

Cable Knit

I don't care how old you are, cable knit never goes out of style. It keeps you warm, is flattering, and is just a classy look. This cable knit sweater  is the perfect shade of green; it reminds me of an evergreen tree!
