Red Hot for Valentines

Thursday, January 18, 2018

Hello Ladies! (or I'm assuming most of you are ladies). How has it been a week since my last post? I could have sworn I posted my Valentine's Day post like two days ago. I guess you could say I've had a busy week. Sunday, I drove to my boyfriend's parent's house. Then this week I've had to drive down to my college. The reason being is I had to help set up for my school's boutique grand opening event. Each semester there are new students that run the boutique and are in charge of ordering merchandise. Right now, the majority of our merchandise is comfy athleisure-wear....think joggers, cropped sweatshirts, distressed sweaters, with a touch of camo. It definitely is different than my typical style, but it's kind of grown on me. Sweatshirts are never all that flattering on me, but I'm kind of tempted to buy this cropped, distressed camo sweatshirt in our boutique. I know some of you are cringing right now. I think it could be super cute though with some Adidas Superstars. I'm starting to sound like those typical, trendy girls.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it on this blog, but I'm also am an Instagram photographer for a local boutique. And when I went in to take pictures of their new merchandise, let me tell you their vibe is so different. Think pastel purples, aqua, and blushes. It made me excited for spring! I can't wait to start breaking out my sundresses and sandals. I'm probably getting a little ahead of myself. Let's be real, Wisconsin is going to have winter weather until late April. I find though that Valentine's Day is kind of the start of breaking out the warmer hues (at least for me anyways). And with the holiday right around the corner, I wanted to give you guys some more inspiration for the holiday on what to wear. This post is going to feature all hues of red, sexy dresses. Oh and before we get into my picks I did want to mention that Zaful's Valentines Sale 2018 is taking place now up until February 14th. The reason I'm mentioning this is because I picked a few dresses from their website. If you're looking for something trendy, or something specific they're bound to have it on their site for super cheap. So definitely check out their Valentines day special

Sexy Backless

Now this is definitely a fire engine red dress. I also find that vnecks are incredibly flattering on just about any bust size. My favorite part about this dress is obviously the back. Who doesn't want to show off their sexy back on this lovers holiday!?

Tunic Dress

I was instantly attracted to this tunic dress. I know empire waists are not everyone's cup of tea, but I think they're just adorable. I love the effortless look of this tunic dress. It may be a little for some of us, but I'm sure y'all can figure out how to style it...maybe some tights, thigh high boots, or a frilly skirt underneath.

Midi, Slit Dress

Speaking of body con, here she is! This is your ultimate dress if you want to show off all of your assets: boobies, butt, and leg. I would say this dress is a little conservative since it's a midi dress, but who am I kidding!? Girl, if you got it, flaunt it!

Lace Backless

If you're Blair Waldorf, looking for your Chuck Bass, this burgundy dress is the one for you! The front is definitely more conservative than the previous choices, though it still has that sex factor thanks to the back! And The lace gives it a frilly, feminine look. It's the best of both worlds

Scalloped Neckline

We're ending this post with another burgundy dress. I'm a huge fan of the scalloped hem trend (even if it is dying off). I just think it's such a sweet, little touch. Plus you won't want to pass up the deal on this dress. Its apart of Zaful's Valentines Sale and only costs $13.99. It comes in black too, so you might as well snag you a new lbd.
